2005 - An year of tragedies?

2005 is indeed the year of tragedies. On 26th Dec, 2004 came the tsunami. That has set the stage for the year ahead. I see reports of atleast 15 airplane crashes this year, the latest being the nigerian plane crash. And this is only October and still a good 2 months before year end.

And then there is this huge earthquake that struck the Indian subcontinent. Pakistan which is one of the largest producer of tents is not finding enought tents to give to the victims who are living in the open in cold weather. Good that this earthquake hasn't struct in the midst of himalayan winter which sets in a month. I only hope this quake doesnot strength these jihadis (merchants of death) who make a living by killing.
