Mumbai Cricket Team - The Gaint Killer

Mumbai cricket team has done it yet again. Yes, this time they beat the Sri Lankan cricket team in an ODI. Sri Lanka is ranked 2 in the ODIs. This is not the first time that Mumbai team has pulled down a gaint. 1998 defeat of the AUS cricket team in a four day match is only fresh in the minds of cricket fans. In that match, Sachin hit a brilliant double ton.

Its to be noted that this is not even the full strength Ranji team. Their Coach Chandrakanth Pandit and captian Bahutule has just stepped down and moved to Maharastra team. Lets hope that this win inspires the Indian team to beat the Lankans 7-0 in the coming up ODI series. I will yet again miss the action live from my home in US.
