ATOM feed for my blog

I have just realised that my blog has the ATOM feed already configured.
In case any of you are using ATOM feed clients, the ATOM feed is
http://muzingz.blogspot.com/atom.xml.

I have configured my ATOM feed client to check Rajiv's blog
(http://muzing.blogspot.com) and Balu's
(http://baladasoji.blogspot.com). But don't think both of them have
any idea of updating their blog ;). Rajiv wrote just one entry.. (that
i'm the inspiration for him to start the blog :) ). But Balu's blog
doesnot have even a single entry.

This weekend, I started on my homepage. Its been quite a while since I
was thinking of doing it. Also, downloaded GIMP software. GIMP is a
real kewl software for image manipulation. I was using this one some
time earlier also. Though the UI is not great( I guess this is becoz
its based on GTK+.. so the UI on windoze may not be great).. the
features are real good.

Sent the link to Suresh as well. He said the software is real kewl.
Actually, i was surprised to hear this, becoz he is not a software
techie and not many non techies like to use these kewl opensource
software.

If I have to list down all the opensource software that I have been
using these days, the first one has to be vi, the editor; mozilla, the
browser(these days i started using mozilla firefox.. I use that to
test the pages that we develop.. I think i will write another blog
about using mozilla instead of IE.. IE sucks big time.. ); mozilla
mail, the mail client(I don't know if this is the best opensource mail
client, but nevertheless works well.. and I can avoid the outlook
targeted virus.. In fact I had a very unpleasant experience, when I
started using outlook.. therz was a virus.. and it started sending
virus mail to TwinCLingG ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ilughyd/)
);linux(actually doesnot use linux much these days since I have a
windows deskop on my office PC and my home PC has only 32MB.. using
windows98 on this one.. used Redhat 6.1 quite well on this one.. but
when I upgraded to Redhat 9.1.. its too slow for 32 MB); castor( this
is a xml marshaller for java.. quite a good tool. can be configured to
used any DOM or SAX parser); a lot of apache libraries ( inlcuding
struts, ) tomcat(JSP/Servlet container), jboss(application server),
eclipse( my standard IDE for java developement.. its better than most
other IDEs and good no. of quality plugins too.. but then I prefer vi
if its just plain editing)..

I am sure I might have missed a lot of other opensource tools that I
use. I always feel bad that I haven't contributed much to opensource
after having used all these tools.. but I guess using these also is a
contribution to an extent.. ;)
Now, I have an idea to put an opensource section in my homepage. It
will have all the opensource tools that I use and the links to
websites/documentation)..

Will add a blog entry once my homepage is up.
