muzingz.. from the land of milk and honey.. after yet another looong break..

after more than week of going to Dallas.. thought of giving a report
card.. well.. to tell the truth.. getting bored in office.. so thought
of typing in something.. :)

For the long weekend, I was not sure how to spend the 3 days. I was
looking to go to Dallas where Omkar, two of my relatives and a couple
of my engineering classmates are thr.. but then i am alone here in
Oklahoma and dont have a car..

My new colleague in office is shifting from Soutch Carolina and he
said he would come to Oklahoma, leave his luggauge and we both shall
go together to Dallas. But then he realised that he had to drive an
extra 200 miles to come to OKC first and then go to Dallas. So, he
dropped the idea and said he would directly go to Dallas and come to
OKC from Dallas..

When I told the same to Omkar, he was ready to come all the way to OKC
and take me to Dallas... which is a round trip of 400 miles.. :o
Well.. I would have certainly thought twice before driving that
long... Thanks Omkar for the drive.. It was great fun..

This is the first time, I met omkar after leaving school. So, we had
lots of things to discuss.. He looked pretty much the same way he was
in 10th.. Actually.. he changed more in the one year he was not in
school.. as u might remember, he was very short when he left the
school in the middle... but when he came back.. he was tall. .. We
almost covered all of our classmates.. as you know, Omkar has the most
updated database of all our classmates..

We started on Friday at 12 midnite from here.. and reached Dallas
early in the morning.. In Dallas I met my relatives and my CBIT
classmates too.. I tried my hand behind the wheel for the first time
in US.. yeah.. I drove my uncle's car just to see if I'm ok driving
here.. I also went to an Indian restaurant.. good home cooked indian
food.. and then on 4th met my new colleague..

We both drove back to OKC in the evening.. the long weekend was not
that long after all.. :)
